Lead Pastor
In January of 2008 Shane and his family followed the call of God and launched Freedom Church with the hopes of attracting the unreached and de-churched of the county. Little did the Frazier’s know the rapid growth that would take place at Freedom Church as people would be attracted to the fresh and life-giving message of Jesus Christ.
Shane is from Rushville, Indiana and attended University of Southern Indiana seeking a degree in Social Work. He then moved back home and began attending IUPUI for a telecommunications degree. During his time at IUPUI, Shane met his soon to be wife Rachel who is from Lebanon, Indiana. Rachel was finishing her degree in Psychology and Missions from Southeastern University. The two were married in August of 1993.
After serving for 10 years together in the church, Shane & Rachel stepped into full-time ministry at their home church in 2003 as Small Group Pastors. During this tenure, they were able to see God take about 200 people in groups to over 980 people in just 4 years! During his tenure Shane became a certified trainer with the DISC personality profile as well as a certified counselor with Prepare-Enrich, a bible-based pre-marital and marriage enrichment program.
In late 2006, God once again tapped on their hearts and asked them to step out and build a new, life-giving church that would bring Freedom to the unreached and de-churched. Besides his love for the church, Shane enjoys watching 24, golfing, playing COD, and building relationships. He also has a deep love for baseball. Of course Shane’s passion is his family of five. Shane and his wife Rachel have been married for over sixteen years and have three children: Hannah age 14; Emma, age 13; and Luke, age 5.
